Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and it's no wonder that so many people want to visit.

Costa Rica has the world's only chocolate-scented beaches! The decadent smell comes from the cocoa plants nearby. It’s the perfect place to get your “chocolate fix”.

Another fun fact is Costa Rica’s different take on the word “soda”. Typically, soda would refer to some flavor of carbonated beverage, but in Costa Rica if you ask for a “soda” you will be taken to a small, informal restaurant that generally serves simple plates of rice, beans, and chicken for as little as $2 USD.

The country's official language is Spanish, and boasts tropical rainforests, adventure opportunities, and overall natural beauty. Of course, we would expect nothing less, being that Costa Rica is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world containing about 5% of the world’s species.
